Keeping up with their impressive update records, HMD Global has added the Nokia 8 and the Nokia 1 to the list of devices with the May Security Patch as the company has started rolling out the update for the owners of the two devices.
The Nokia 8 was HMD Global’ s last year flagship offering with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4GB of RAM and a 5.2-inch QHD display. It was the first device in the world which was equipped with a Carl Zeiss powered dual lens system.
The Nokia 1, on the other hand, was launched by HMD Global at the MWC 2018 and is an entry-level device from Nokia aimed at the budget consumers with modest specifications and running on Android Oreo Go edition. The highlight of the device apart from its modest price tag was the Xpress on covers which enabled the user to quickly customize his device’s appearance.
For the Nokia 8, the update is 77.6MB in size and the changelog reads
- Update Google Security Patch 2018- 05
For the Nokia 1, the update is 108.3MB in size and the changelog reads:
- Update Google Security Patch 2018-05
