Samsung is set for the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 device on August 1. According to the Android Headline, one of the members of the Samsung plans confirmed this personally. As we all know that Samsung will launch Galaxy Note 9 and Galaxy Watch on August 9, so the company has decided to unveil the Galaxy Tab S4 tablet before than that. Obviously, they don’t want to wait till IFA 2018 event.

There are so many rumors and leaks about the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 tablet device. Some of them seem official and some real-life photos leaked also. In the images, the tablet seems to be featured with external keyboard support.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 Expected Specifications and Features

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 tablet will come with a huge 10.5-inch Super AMOLED QHD display with a resolution of 2560×1600 pixels. The device could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 4GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage capacity. The Snapdragon 835 is the previous generation flagship processor which performs excellently with better power consumption. At least, this one would be far better than the Snapdragon 660, 710 or some of the Exynos processors. This one will support Samsung DEX Pad accessory with S-Pen stylus out of the box.

The battery could be packed with a massive 7,300mAh capacity with fast charging support. The tablet device could feature a single 13MP of rear camera with flash and a single 8MP of front camera with an Iris Scanner to unlock device instantly and securely.

However, there is no confirmation about the Face Recognition unlock support. This time the tablet might not come with the dedicated physical home button. That means there will be no dedicated fingerprint sensor as well.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 is expected to come with a 3.5mm audio jack, USB 3.1 port, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, GPS, better sound output with AKG tuning, etc. This device will run on Android 8.1 Oreo over the Samsung’s Experience 9.0 UI. The tablet could be available in Black, White, or Grey color variant. There is no confirmation about the price tag yet.
