Moto G4 Plus gets Android 8.0 Oreo via LineageOS 15 ROM

Motorola has been releasing a whole lot of devices this year in the Moto G series as the company released the Moto G5 and the Moto G5 Plus earlier this year and now the company has launched the special editions of the Moto G5 series which are the Moto G5S and the Moto G5S Plus. These smartphones are the latest flagship smartphones for the company this year but the company launched the flagship Moto G smartphones last year as well. This were the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus smartphones from Motorola.

Now that we are talking about the Moto G4 and the Moto G4 Plus from Motorola, the company released a list of smartphones that will be getting the update to the latest version of Android officially which is the Android 8.0 Oreo update. Do note that Motorola smartphones run a near stock Android UI so their smartphones are expected to be the first to get the latest update. However, if you are a Moto G4 or Moto G4 Plus user then we have some worrying news for you. The news is that the list which Motorola published yesterday does not include the names of either the Moto G4 or the Moto G4 Plus. This means that the company has no plans to update the last year’s Moto G series with the latest update.
