Steps To Enable Daydream VR On Android Nougat Smartphone | Android 7.0+
Step 1. The first thing that you have to ensure is that your device is rooted. If not, kindly root your device following the articles present on your site. Once it is rooted, you have to install Root Explorer App from Play Store. or you can use any free root browsers.
Step 2. You have to download the APK files of Google VR Services and Daydream because you cannot install them from the Play Store as your device is not compatible. After downloading the APK files, install them.
Step 3. Open Root Explorer and navigate to /system/etc/permissions/handheld_core_hardware.xml. Select Edit option from the menu.
Step 4. Search for the Root Permission tag and add the following in it.

<feature name=”android.hardware.vr.high_performance” />
Save the changes and reboot your smartphone.
Step 5. Open Daydream app and fix your phone in the Daydream VR headset and start enjoying the experience.
Make sure you put the codes correctly else the functioning of the Daydream VR will not be correct.
