Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 Bootloader Can Be Unlocked Unofficially
Update: The developer has removed the post.  Asus recently released it mid-range device named Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1. It is a direct competitor of Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5 series devices. This time Asus has ditched the ZenUI and implemented the Stock vanilla Android 8.1 Oreo in the device.

The device has successfully grabbed Media’s attention and now the hype is very high. The device is now available in some markets like India where it is available in flash sale. Many developers have started working around the device.

A popular XDA member Saktis_STi has already posted a guide to unlock the ZenFone Max Pro M1 bootloader. Remember, this is not an official method. This means users can now unlock the bootloader of Zenfone Max Pro M1.

But before proceeding to the guide, you must know that unlocking the bootloader of the device will void the warranty but you can regain it by relocking the bootloader. We recommend you to follow the guide carefully to avoid any issues.

We personally haven’t tested this method, so we can’t comment on how reliable that it but as it is posted on Xda which is the best place for Android development you can follow the guide. We still recommend you to read the post carefully then follow the guide.
