Expected Android 9.0 Pie Update To All Nokia Smartphones
The Google Pixel devices and Essential PH is already rolled out to Android 9. So, among all of these smartphones, only the Nokia 7 Plus will be the first device to get the latest Android 9.0 Pie update for sure. However, the Android 9 Pie beta ROM is available for the device but it lacks stability and some features. After this update, Nokia 8 and Nokia 8 Sirocco could be on the list. The best part is that in spite of a mid-range budget segment device, the Nokia 7 Plus gets the official Android 9.0 Pie update by Google due to Android One platform.
The Android 9.0 Pie features swipe gesture navigation, digital wellbeing, app timer, improved notification panel, media and connectivity control, adaptive battery and brightness control, recent UI etc. The expected update will be received through OTA batches and it will take time. All the Nokia smartphones will be updated to the newer version with the latest security patch update by the end of this year hopefully. Till then we have to wait for the official stable OTA update in Nokia smartphones by HMD Global.
