Netflix HDR support arrives for V35, G7, Note 9 among others

Netflix consumers like to consume the content on their mobile phones. The company is also constantly trying to improve the type of experience that they deliver to mobile phones. One of them was the introduction of HDR streaming to smartphones. Notable, the LG G6 was the first smartphone to get this feature. Netflix periodically updates the list of devices that support Netflix streaming in HDR.

The benefit of HDR streaming is that it expands the contrast and color rage giving more contrast and a wider range of colors. It keeps the videos as close to the way the director intended it to be shown to the audience.

Until now, Netflix in HDR was available on a couple of flagship handsets some of which include the Huawei P20, Razer Phone, Sony Xperia XZ2 among others. Samsung phones are usually the quickest ones to get the support partly because of the sharp and crisp display that the company offers in its devices, as it happens each new Samsung flagship contains the best mobile display up to that point.
