Finally, Xiaomi Mi 4i has started receiving the latest and final build of MIUI 9.2 ROM.This update was shared on company’s official forums.This is really a great news as the Mi 4i was launched with MIUI 6 and now it is getting the latest MIUI 9.2.2.0
The company has already confirmed that this MIUI 9.2 Update is the final official update for this device.The new MIUI 9.2 is around 299MB in size and comes with MIUI 9.2.2.0.LXIMIEK.The new MIUI 9.2.2.0 update doesn’t come with any security patches.
This version of MIUI 9.2 is based on Android 5.0 Lollipop and contains the Android security patch of January 2017.The new update brings some new fresh features to this old device.The update allow users to Lock any app and it also supports hiding messages from selected apps.The UI has also been redesigned and can be noticed from the nav bar, lock screen and status bar.
