Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi 5 in India on March 14

Xiaomi has launched the latest smartphones in the flagship and mid-range lineup from the company year after year from the past couple of years and the latest smartphones launched by the company were the Redmi Note 5 and the Redmi Note 5 Pro which were announced last month by Xiaomi in India. As far as the Redmi Note 5 Pro is concerned, the smartphone was globally launched in the Indian event as well. Now, we have known that the company released the Redmi 5 and Redmi 5 Plus in China last year. It is known that the Redmi 5 Plus has been launched as the Redmi Note 5 in India.

Also, the Redmi Note 5 Pro will be launched in China as the Redmi Note 5 which will be the upgraded version of the Redmi Note 4. Now, it is known that the company is going to launch the successor to the Redmi 4 smartphone in India in the coming days. As far as the next smartphone in the Redmi series, the smartphone will be named as the Redmi 5. Also, it is understood that this will be the same smartphone as the Redmi 5 which was launched in China last year. Talking about the launch of Redmi 5, Xiaomi has now started to share teasers about the launch of its next Redmi smartphone.

As far as Xiaomi is concerned, the next smartphone launch has been accompanied with the hashtag #compactpowerhouse which means that the smartphone will have a smaller screen but will be equally powerful as the other Redmi series phones. We have known that the Redmi 5 comes with a 5-inch screen. Also, the launch event for the Redmi 5 has been scheduled for March 14 in India and the device is expected to come with an 18:9 aspect ratio for the display.
