The devices were unveiled by Samsung a few days back and are the latest budget- mid-range devices from the company.
The Samsung Galaxy J6+ and the Galaxy J4+ sport Samsung’s Infinity display, a sAMOLED panel from Samsung displays, which would give them a nice edge over their competitors. Along with the display, Samsung is highlighting further features like Dolby enhanced audio speakers, True HD+ Infinity design and support for L1 Widevine certification allowing you to stream content from OTTs like Amazon Prime, Netflix in FullHD, as it happens most of the Chinese devices, like all the devices from Xiaomi, some OnePlus and Honor devices lack this feature, allowing the user to stream in a maximum quality of 540p.
The Samsung Galaxy J4+ has been priced at Rs. 10,990 while the Samsung Galaxy J6+ has been priced at Rs. 15,990 placing them in competition with HMD Global’s Nokia 5.1 Plus and 6.1 Plus respectively.
As a part of the company’s ‘Make for India’ program, the devices would come with support for dual- SIM cards and expandable memory in a non- hybrid housing. They would be coming with features like installing apps to SD card also.
