Huawei’s sub-brand Honor just launched the Honor 8C smartphone with some good hardware specifications and features. This one is the successor model of the previous generation Honor 7C in China. This one is the first ever smartphone to come with the latest Snapdragon 632 processor in the industry. The display is a 19:9 aspect ratio with the notched cut-out offering 80.4% screen-to-body ratio. It has the 3D nano-level texture design with the gradient color and glare combination for the better look. The unique dual-tone light and shadow color effect simply looks awesome at a first glance and feels great in hand as well.
Honor 8C Specifications
The Honor 8C comes with the 6.26-inch HD+ notched 19:9 aspect ratio display with a resolution of 1520×720 pixels. The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 SoC which is an octa-core based 14nm Kryo 250 CPU clocked up to 1.8GHz coupled with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes with the 4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage variant. The storage can be expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card.
The handset features dual rear snappers of a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture, LED flash and a secondary 2MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture. On the front, the device does have a single 8MP selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture lens and a LED flashlight. The front camera also supports AI Face Unlock as well.

Honor 8C runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with EMUI 8.2 skin out of the box. The device is packed with a bigger 4,000mAh battery along with a 5V/2A charging adapter. The handset includes connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, dual-SIM support, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GLONASS etc.
Honor 8C Price and Availability
The phone measures 158.72 x 75.94 x 7.98mm and weighs 167.2 grams. The Honor 8C comes in Platinum Gold, Aurora Blue, Nebula Purple, and Midnight Black color options. It priced 1099 Yuan for the 4GB+32GB variant and 1399 Yuan for the 4GB+64GB model. The handset is now open for pre-order and will go on sale from October 16. There is no information about the price and availability in India yet.
