Essential is the smartphone manufacturing company which has been launched by the former co-founder of Android, Andy Rubin who had developed Android Operating system during his stint at Google which is the currently behind maintaining the Android operating system. The company was launched by Andy Rubin some time ago and they had released the first smartphone from the company which was named as the Essential Phone PH-1. This smartphone was launched with the unique bezel-less design which has been seen on almost all of the flagship smartphones that have been launched this year.
Talking about the design of the Essential Phone PH-1, the smartphone has an edge-to-edge display with a cutout in the middle for the front-facing camera. Also, the smartphone has a 2K AMOLED display and the smartphone consists of a dual-camera setup at the back. Apart from that, the smartphone also follows a modular approach where mods can be attached to the back of the phone through magnetic hinges.

Now, the smartphone was launched some time back and it has already received many updates to the phone till date. Now, there is a new software update which has been received on the Essential Phone PH-1 which comes with the latest October security patch that was released by Google at the very beginning of this month. Talking about the latest update, the smartphone will be updated to the latest October Security Patch after the update has been installed on the phone. Apart from that, you will also see improvements for Google Now on tap, DND modes, and other battery optimizations. Apart from that, you will also see some improvements in the camera after the update has been installed which will improve the image quality on the device. Essential also says that the phone will become more secure after installing the update which might be due to the KRACK vulnerability fix that might have been included.
