Asus Zenfone 5 pricing details leaked ahead of launch

Asus announced the launch of its latest Zenfone series of smartphones and the flagship smartphone in the Asus Zenfone series is the Zenfone 5. As far as the Asus Zenfone 5 is concerned, the device was announced by the company at Mobile World Congress which was organized a few months back in Barcelona. Talking about the Asus Zenfone 5, the device comes with a notch on top of its display along with minimal bezels at the top and a thin chin at the bottom. Apart from that, the smartphone also has a dual camera setup on the back which resembles that of the iPhone X’s cameras.

Now, it is known that Asus will be releasing the Zenfone 5 in many more countries including Asian markets like India, China, and Taiwan very soon. Talking about the launch, we have now known that the company has already organized an event in China and Taiwan tomorrow so we will most likely see the launch of Zenfone 5 tomorrow in those countries. In terms of specifications, the Asus Zenfone 5 has a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with a notch on top and the device has 19:9 aspect ratio carrying a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels. Along with that, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, 6GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage capacity.

Now, we have got some more information to share with you about the Asus Zenfone 5 and this is regarding the pricing of the smartphone. We have now known that the Asus Zenfone 5 will be available in China and Taiwan NT$11,990, which converts to 2600 Yuan which is approximately Rs. 26,000 in India. However, it is expected that the Taiwan and Chinese market prices of the Asus Zenfone 5 will be adjusted for the Indian markets whenever it launches and the smartphone will be placed on or below the 20K INR mark in India.
