Expanding its XA2 series, at an event in London, Sony Mobiles has launched the Xperia XA2 Plus.
The XA2 series was unveiled by Sony at the MWC’ 2018 and so far consisted of the Sony Xperia XA2 and the Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra.
Coming to the spec sheet of the device, the Sony Xperia XA2 PLus is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC and has memory and storage combinations of 4GB/32GB and 6GB/ 64GB. If this isn’t enough for you, then it has a microSD card slot also capable of expanding the storage by 400 GB.
The XA2 Plus has a 6- inch Full HD+ ( 2160x 1080) display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The display is protected under a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. A 3580 mAh battery is provided to juice up the device, giving it enough charge to last throughout the day easily. The battery can be charged through QuickCharge 3.0 and supports QnOvo adaptive charging.
COming to the optics, this being a Sony device, you can expect it to have a cool camera. The XA2 PLus has a single 23MP rear camera and an 8MP front camera. The rear camera is an 84- degree wide- angle camera and comes with Hybrid autofocus and support for 4K video recording along with 120 fps slo-mo. It comes with 5X clear image zoom and quick launch and capture also.
The front snapper is a f/2.4 aperture 120- degree wide- angle lens with support for soft skin, skin brightness, and bokeh mode also.
The fingerprint sensor is housed below the camera lens. The 3.5 mm headphone jack rests on the top while a USB- C charging port and noise-canceling enabled mic on the bottom of the device. SOny’s trademark circular power button and volume rockers sit on the side of the smartphone.
Sony has equipped features which would cater to the audiophiles also. The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus features High- Res, ClearAudio+, and Clear Bass. Qualcomm aptX HD audio is also available in the device, enabling HD audio on Bluetooth wireless devices.
The device would be available starting August 2018 in black, silver, gold and green color. The pricing details are currently kept under wraps, but stay tuned with us, as we’ll update you when they become available.
