Xiaomi is working on a new upcoming fast wireless charger with Qi charging support. The Chinese tech giant recently launched Mi Pad 4 and Redmi 6 pro in China. The company seems to be unstoppable in terms of new device launch in every month. Roland Quandt yesterday tweeted about the upcoming Xiaomi Qi wireless charger. There is no further information available but it should support Mi Mix 2S and upcoming Mi Mix 3 flagship smartphones.
Xiaomi Qi wireless charger – get certified by WPC
Xiaomi recently revealed the Mi Mix 3 launch date poster on Weibo also indicating that the Xiaomi Qi wireless charger could also be launched on the same day on September 2018. There is no confirmed date till now. However, Xiaomi’s 1st generation wireless charger didn’t do that well in the market with a maximum charging power of 7.5W. That’s quite low in terms of other popular branded wireless charger like Samsung with a higher 10W-15W power.
The Xiaomi Qi wireless charger recently certified by WPC (Wireless Power Consortium). This one could come with minimum 10W power charging feature. The nice round shaped slimmer design with a matte black finish looks like a premium device. A green LED notification light is also placed on the sidebar.
