The reason why most of the advanced users buy Android smartphones is due to the fact that they can install custom ROMs and experience the best features in enhanced modes. Furthermore, some of the smartphones like that of Samsung and Xiaomi come with pre-installed custom ROMs with custom UI. When you get bored of those, you can go back to stock Android version easily. But the only complaint that most users make about custom ROMs is that before flashing a custom ROM, one needs to root their device. This rooting process differs for different smartphones and most of them are complicated. Fortunately, RootME is a great solution for them as it almost has a universal rooting method for most of the smartphones.

Pre-Requirements
- Download and install ADB and Fastboot on your computer.
- Enable USB debugging on your smartphone from Settings>Developer Options> USB Debugging.
- Enable Unknown Sources on your smartphone from Settings>Security.
- Make sure you take a complete backup of device data.

Steps To Easily Root Your Android Device With RootMe
Step 1. Download RootME Zip file on your computer and extract it.
Step 2. The extract folder name will be RootMe-master. Inside it, you will find the RootME folder. Inside that, you will find two subfolders Root and UnRoot. When you want to root your device, you need to go inside Root folder and when you want to unroot your device, you have to enter Unroot folder.
This Step Is For Windows Users
Step 3. Connect your device to your computer and enter inside Root folder and then double click on runme.bat file. It will initiate the rooting process.
This Step Is For Linux Users
Step 3. Connect your device to your computer running on Linux. Launch Terminal Window and type the following and execute. This will initiate the rooting process.
chmod +x /home/yourusername/Desktop/RootME-master/RootME/Root/runme.sh
Make sure you extract the ZIP file on the desktop and replace ‘username’ with your corresponding username on your OS.
After rooting your device, you can install any custom ROM on your smartphone.
