Redmi Y3 has been launched in India today on 24th April 2019 in India. The handset is a successor model of the previous generation Redmi Y2 series where Y-series stands for Youth Edition. Redmi 7 also launched in India at the same event in New Delhi. The main highlights of this device is a 32MP selfie camera with EIS mode. The handset comes in Aura Prism gradient color design, SDM632 SoC, and MIUI 10 based on Android Pie.

Redmi Y3 Specifications and Features
Xiaomi Redmi Y3 smartphone comes with a 6.26-inch HD+ display at a resolution of 720×1520 pixels, a 19:9 aspect ratio and 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It’s powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 632 SoC coupled with a 3GB/4GB of RAM and 32GB/64GB of internal storage option. The storage can be expandable up to 512GB via a dedicated microSD card slot.
The Redmi Y3 features a dual rear camera setup of a 12MP primary camera with an f/2.2 aperture lens and the secondary camera has a 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera setup comes with a PDAF, EIS, and a dual-LED flash.
While on the front side, the handset sports a 32MP selfie shooter with an AI portrait mode, EIS, Auto HDR mode. The handset runs MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie out-of-the-box. The device is packed with a 4,000 mAh battery.
In terms of the connectivity options on the Redmi Y3 includes 3G/4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It measures 158.65 x 76.43 x 8.47 mm and weighs 180 grams. All the major sensors are available includes an IR blaster and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
Redmi Y3 Price and Availability in India
The Redmi Y3 price starts at Rs. 9,999 for the 3GB/32GB variant in India. While the 4GB/64GB variant costs Rs. 11,999. The smartphone will be available in Bold Red, Elegant Blue, and Prime Black color options. It will go on sale from April 30 via Amazon India, Mi official store, and Mi Home stores officially.
