The MIUI 10 Global ROM has now arrived in India on Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro device. After some beta updates and announcements, the handset gets the OTA update officially through batches and it may take some days to get update notification officially. So the Redmi Note 5 Pro users can now check for updates manually or can download the ROM file from official MIUI site.
Redmi Note 5 Pro gets MIUI 10 Global ROM
This new MIUI 10 Global update features new September security patch with a few bugs fixes and system improvements. The update size is around 580 MB and the version number is MIUI 10.0.1.0.OEIMIFH. By installing this update, the device now can perform better tasks and Mi Ecosystem devices such as AI portrait, new recent UI, the material designed notification shade and panel, improved app vault, improved recent app menu etc.

According to the official changelog of MIUI 10 update, it will also bring full-screen navigation and swipe gestures like iPhone X for an 18:9 aspect ratio display. However, this particular feature could take some time to roll out in Redmi Note 5 Pro.
