Xiaomi launched the Mi Explorer Program last month for the Xiaomi Mi A2 launch in their Global Launch event in Spain. Xiaomi announced that the Global Launch event will be held from July 23 to July 25, but the exact date didn’t reveal that time. Now the company announced on MIUI Forum (Spain) that the First Global Launch event will be held on July 24 in Madrid, Spain. However, there are some chances for the launch of Xiaomi POCOPHONE as well. Because the Xiaomi POCOPHONE recently gets FCC certification with the model number of M1805E10A features 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

Xiaomi Mi A2 – First Global Launch in Spain
Those who are interested in attending of first ever Global Launch event in Spain from Xiaomi for the Xiaomi Mi A2 product launch then you have to register at first. If you want to register your name for the launch event then register from here. Still, Xiaomi hasn’t yet officially confirmed about the launch product. We can expect that the Xiaomi Mi A2 could be launched that day. Registrations are open till July 18 this month. You will be notified after registration via email.
Xiaomi Mi A2 Specifications
- The Xiaomi Mi A2 could be a quite similar to Xiaomi Mi 6X device. The device could come with a 5.99-inch Full HD IPS LCD display (1080×2160 pixels) with an 18:9 aspect ratio.
- 2.2Ghz Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC coupled with Adreno 512 GPU.
- 4GB RAM+32GB storage / 4GB RAM+64GB storage / 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant.
- Stock Android 8.1 Oreo with latest security patch update. (Up to two future Android version updates)
- 3,010mAh non-removable battery with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 support.
- Xiaomi Mi A2 could feature dual 12MP and 20MP camera sensor with AI-support. It could feature AI-Scene detection, AI-Portrait, auto HDR, PDAF, EIS/OIS support, Geo-Tagging, Panorama, Time Lapse, Beautification mode, Face Detection Unlock, Animoji features etc.
- Single 20MP of a front camera with AI support including lowlight photography and clear portrait mode effect.
- Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0 LE, Dual-Band Wi-Fi (2.4Ghz/5Ghz), Wi-Fi Direct, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB-C port, 4G VoLTE, IR Blaster, and 3.5mm audio jack (maybe) etc.

Xiaomi Mi A2 – Expected Price and Availability in India
The Xiaomi Mi A2 could be priced slightly higher than the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro. Right now the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro 4GB+64GB variant priced at Rs.14,999 in India. So, we can expect the Xiaomi Mi A2 could be priced at around Rs.16,999 approximately and the 6GB+128GB variant could be priced at around Rs.19,999 (approx). However, the company doesn’t mention anything about the Indian launch yet. But the successor model of Xiaomi Mi A1 will definitely launch in India within two months or less.
