Oppo is celebrating the 5th anniversary of ColorOS and they unveiled the newer version of the custom skin based on AI machine learning. It’s also optimized for upcoming all screen devices.
Oppo Announced ColorOS 6.0 With AI
The new UI is based on the light color scheme, where the background is white and all other colored gradients seem vibrant and promising. Oppo claimed to bring white background is meant to create an “airy atmosphere”. The built-in AI machine learning capability ensures the background app running very efficiently without killing them from RAM management process. That is a good move from Oppo to freeze apps background tasks for better RAM management.
The ColorOS 6.0 will be updated soon to most of the full-screen Oppo devices including Realme devices. The bezel-less Oppo and Realme devices will get the custom skin update in next year and most importantly the upcoming next-gen smartphone users will feel the change properly. Oppo has updated a new font as well with this UI called “Oppo Sans” with the help of Chinese typeface company Hanyi.
Oppo mentioned that the machine learning AI can track users data and activity up to 2 weeks to learn users usage habits and preferences clearly. This will help the device to improve battery life as well up to 7 percent extra power consumption than the current UI version.
ColorOS 6.0 Expected Availability
Oppo hasn’t released yet the list of devices which will get the ColorOS 6.0 update in future. The update will start to come in 2019 to the devices but there is no information that whether the new UI will bring Android 9.0 Pie version or not.
