Oppo has finally sent out media invites for a launch event of Oppo Find X on July 12 in India. The device was launched in Paris last month with the main feature of pop-up camera slider and FullView display. The Oppo Find X is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 8GB of RAM and 3D Facial Screen Unlock technology.
Oppo Find X Design
The Oppo Find X comes in two color variants – Bordeaux Red and Glacier Blue. The smartphone has a small chin at the bottom with almost no bezels. The device screen-to-body ratio is 93.8% with World’s first ever Panoramic design. The curved all glass body with shining metallic finish gives a premium look. The motorized pop-up camera is quite fast and smooth featuring both front and rear camera setup along with LED flash.

Oppo claims that the motorized mechanism is being tested over 3,00,000 times for longer durability. The display edges are slightly curved for an Ultra FullView display experience similar to Samsung’s Infinity display.
Oppo Find X Specifications
Oppo Find X is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC along with 8GB RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. The storage can be expandable via MicroSD card. The device is coupled with Adreno 630 GPU. It comes with a massive 6.42-inch OLED Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. It is a 19.5:9 aspect ratio display.
Oppo Find X is running on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the pack. It is upgradable to Android P. The 4G dual-SIM slot is available. The device sports a dual rear camera setup of a 16MP primary sensor and a 20MP of secondary sensor. It features OIS support. The front has a single 25MP of selfie camera with AI-features for clicking perfect portrait shots even in low light. It has 3D Face Detection Unlock feature (doesn’t have fingerprint sensor).
Oppo Find X Connectivity
The device packed with a 3,730mAh battery with VOOC fast charging (0-100% in 35 minutes) support. It includes Connectivity options like USB-C port, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth v5.0 LE, GPS, GLONASS, and A-GPS. It also includes all the major sensors like Gyro, Proximity, Flood Illuminator, Compass, Light, Hall, Magnetometer, Infrared, Ranging sensor, Dot Projector etc. The Oppo Find X dimensions measure at 156.7×74.3×9.4mm, and it weighs about 186 grams.
Oppo Find X will launch in India – Price and Availability
The pricing and availability will be revealed at the launch event. However, the Oppo Find X device was priced at EUR 999 (Rs. 79,000 approx) at the Paris event last month and will be available from August. A limited edition Oppo Find X Lamborghini Edition was also launched with the 512GB internal storage variant. That edition was featured with Carbon Fibre back, and Super VOOC quick charge support. This version is priced at around EUR 1,699 (Rs. 1,34,400 approx). Now there is no confirmation about the Lamborghini edition smartphone will launch in India or not…
