OnePlus finally provides an update for Project Treble support in OnePlus 5 and 5T devices yesterday on October 25 this year. The company promised to release an update for project treble a few months ago. Now all those who are using OnePlus 5 and 5T devices can enjoy this feature especially developers.
Project Treble Support for OnePlus 5 and 5T
The Project Treble will help the developers most who are work with custom ROMs and tweaks or customizations. It will allow the developers or any users to flash any custom ROM via GSI (Generic System Image) which are compatible with OnePlus 5 and 5T devices. Most of the devices are getting this latest stable OxygenOS update via an OTA. The update also brings some of the bug fixes and system improvements for India region which are given below.

Note: Please make sure that you’re running OxygenOS 5.1.5 version (stable) before updating to 5.1.6 version.
The latest update also brings latest security patch of October month with network connectivity and Bluetooth stability bug fixes. The update will roll out to all the OnePlus 5 and 5T devices within a few weeks. So please be patient and don’t use any VPN to download because the update will be region specific.
