This update could have been even more exciting if it was accompanied by Nougat 7.1.1 which is available for Google’s Pixel and Nexus devices already but there is no way Moto G5 Plus users are complaining now.
This update is being rolled out already to the millions of users of Moto G5 Plus in the US. The users will be receiving the update OTA (over-the-air) and you need to patiently wait for it to reach your device. However, if you are too eager for this update that you can’t wait for it to arrive, then you can download it manually by downloading the OTA zip file of this update.
There are a few measures that you need to take for successfully installing this new update.
- The OTA file is available for only the US models of Moto G5 Plus.
- According to Motorola, your device needs to have more than 50% battery percentage before you begin.
- The device must be connected to a stable Wi-Fi network or LTE.
