LG has recently released the LG G6 smartphone which is the flagship smartphone from the company for this year. However, LG had released the LG K10 last year as its budget smartphone offering for the year. The LG K10 smartphone was also made available on the AT&T network in the US. The smartphone has long been running the Android Marshmallow version which is a year old Android version. Now, the LG K10 on the AT&T network has started to receive the Android Nougat K42520c update which was long awaited by the users of the LG K10.
LG K10 users on AT&T network have started receiving a new software update. The update installs Android 7.0 Nougat and is on the roll out as we speak. We have also known that the update is arriving as software version K42520c, the update brings all the Nougat goodies to the affordable LG K10 phone. It also includes security patch for the month of April. And in all probability, the update should also tag along regular bug fixes. The software update is quite heavy and weighs 1.22 GB. Therefore, it is advisable to charge your LG phone sufficiently before installing the update. Also, connect it to a WiFi network before hitting the download button to avoid extra data charges.
However, do note that the update has been a major version bump as the software will upgrade the LG K10’s OS to Android Nougat which was earlier on Android Marshmallow. The update being rolled out over the air may take some time to hit your device. You can also check for it manually.
How To Check Software Update on LG Phones

Step 2.Tap On Update Center > System update > Check for update.
Also, it is advisable that you backup all your important stuff and have a clean reset after installing the new K42520c update on the LG K10 to take advantage of all the new things from the update.
