Samsung has been releasing software updates to all the smartphones released by the company in the recent times. The Samsung Galaxy S8, S8+ as well as the Galaxy Note 5 and the earlier Galaxy S7 and S6 variants have received the update which installs the June security patch to the device. Now, a new update has been rolled out to the budget smartphones from the company which is the Samsung Galaxy J7 Max, Galaxy J3 as well as Galaxy J1. These smartphones have started to receive a new update and this new update installs the latest June security patch update to the device after the installation of the update.

Now, talking about the update which has been released by Samsung, the Galaxy J7 Max, Galaxy J3 as well as J1 receive the update with build number G615FXXU1AQF4 for J7 Max, J320FXXU0AQF1 for Galaxy J3 and J120HXXS0AQF1 update for Galaxy J1. Now, if we look at the official changelog of the update then the devices are receiving the June security patch with this new update. Apart from that, the devices will also get bug fixes for the bugs that were present in the earlier builds of the devices. The users of the device should also expect the performance of the devices to be improved as well after the update

As far as the rollout of the update is concerned, Samsung has rolled out three different updates to three devices on its network with different build numbers so the updates would not be arriving at the same time to all the devices. However, the updates have been rolled out already and the OTA should reach your device as soon as possible. If not, you can manually check for the updates on your device by going to your device’s settings app and checking for the updates.
