Pre-requirements
- Your device must have the bootloader unlocked and custom recovery installed.
2. Keep the battery charge to at least 60% for the process to complete smoothly.
3. Take a complete backup of your device data and create a full Nandroid backup to restore back the current ROM.
4. Your device must be running of EMUI 5.1.
Steps To Install Resurrection Remix ROM On Honor 9
Step 1. Download Custom ROM file, Vendor Image file and Gapps on your computer and transfer them to the internal storage of your device.
Step 2. Boot Honor 9 in recovery mode by powering it off and pressing Power and Volume Down button together for a few seconds.
Step 3. Go to Wipe menu option and select System, Data and Cache option and Swipe to wipe them off.
Step 4. Go to TWRP main menu and select Install option.
Step 5. Then navigate to the Custom ROM file on the internal storage and select and swipe to start the flashing process.
Step 6. In the same way, flash Vendor image file and Gapps.Once everything is done, give your device a restart and start using it.Done!!!
