Huawei has started rolling out the Official version of Huawei P8 Marshmallow update, Which are getting to many users as of now only for Europe users. The update brings all the marshmallow features such as application permission, doze mode and etc.

This update also renews the Security patch level of the terminal, This firmware update is based upon EMUI 4.0.1 and is only available for GRA-L09 variants. Though if happen to have the phone and haven’t got the update yet, You can do it manually which we will show you below on how to do it.

The Huawei P8 was the new flagship of the Chinese company in 2015, the most representative model of its catalog of smartphones. Unlike the Ascend P7, the new model offers a unibody housing designed entirely in aluminum. The shapes vary slightly in the sides and corners, now more softened. As for the thickness of the equipment, the manufacturer opts again for a thickness below seven millimeters (6.4 millimeters). In the multimedia part, we find a Sony IMX278 sensor with a resolution of 13 megapixels where its main novelty is the introduction of an optical image stabilizer system with the ability to record FullHD video. On the front, we have a second camera that raises its resolution to eight megapixels. The autonomy of the Huawei P8 will be determined by a battery of lithium polymers with a capacity of 2,600 mAh. Regarding the software, Huawei includes in its new model the renewed Huawei Emotion IU graphics layer in addition to Android 5.0.2 Lollipop.

Note: This firmware update should only be flashed on devices which are from the Europe region, with GRA-L09 variant particularly, Also if you are flashing this update make sure your device has at least 60% of battery available otherwise if while flashing the update it gets lower down, It might lead to brick your device.

Pre-Requirements

The firmware is only for Huawei P8 European and you should not try it on any other Huawei device because it might brick the device.
You should have the bootloader of your Huawei P10 Plus unlocked.
Take a complete backup of device data as everything will be wiped out during the process.
Keep the battery charge to 60% at least to prevent accidental shutdown.

Steps To Install Huawei P8 B399 Marshmallow Update [Europe]

METHOD:- 1

Step 1.First, Download the Firmware for Huawei P8 (according to your device’s model number) from the download section above

Step 2.Extract that file and create a folder ‘dload’ and place the ‘update.app’ file in that folder and then move that ‘dload‘ folder to your SD card.

Step 3.Now reboot your device and press ‘Volume Up + Volume Down + Power Button’ together for a while.
