With the official launch date of the latest and stable version of Android O nearing, Google has finally rolled out the final beta of Android 8. This update is now available for download the Google Pixel and Nexus devices and it is the 4th and the final update of Android O.
This Android O Developer Preview 4 contains almost all the features that would roll out in the official stable update later this year. The devices that are receiving this update includes the Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player, Pixel C, Pixel and Pixel XL. The final beta update comes with several bug fixes and optimisations and has the updated version of API 26.
Google has also launched a stable version 26 of the Android support library along with this update. This would help the developers in creating apps that are compatible with Android O and also to port the exclusive features of Android O to the older versions of Android.
