The Taiwanese Technology company Asus has launched their flagship smartphone Asus Zenfone 5Z in early 2018. Then the device was launched in India a few months ago with Android Oreo version over ZenUI 5.0 out of the box. The leaked reports mentioned that the device will get Android 9 Pie update officially later this year in late January 2019. The Zenfone 5Z (ZS620KL) could get the OTA update expectedly as the company revealed itself.

The company also mentioned that when the update will roll-out to the device, the users will get a notification on their smartphones for the update. But if the notification won’t come, users can check the update manually from ‘Settings’ – ‘System’ – ‘System Update’ option.
As we all know that the latest Android 9.0 Pie update brings all new redesigned UI, system UI, recent menu, app slices, swipe gesture navigation, adaptive battery and brightness, app timer, digital wellbeing, and more.
The Asus Zenfone 5Z is a flagship smartphone which is powered by Snapdragon 845 chipset paired with 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/256GB variant. It’s running on Android 8.0 Oreo with ZenUI 5.0 custom skin out of the box. The handset comes with a 6.2-inch Full HD+ Super IPS+ notched display with a 19:9 aspect ratio. It features a 12MP+8MP dual rear camera with dual-tone LED flash. The front features a single 8MP selfie camera with AI capabilities.
