Micromax is back again in the Indian market after almost a year of silence. Recently, the sub-brand Yu launched an entry-level device for online market in India at a very competitive price tag. Now the Micromax Spark Go smartphone launched at a very decent price of Rs.3,999. The device is running on Android Oreo Go Edition platform which ensures the compatible software version and app usage regarding to hardware specs. The handset is launched today on October 26 and goes directly on sale exclusively on Flipkart.
Micromax Spark Go Specifications
This is one of the cheapest Android devices in the market which includes both rear and front camera with a 5-inch FWVGA display. The screen features 480×854 pixels resolution in a 16:9 aspect ratio. The device is powered by the Spreadtrum SC9832E SoC coupled with Mali-T720 GPU, 1GB of RAM, and 8GB of onboard storage. The storage can be expandable via MicroSD card up to 32GB.
The handset is packed with a 2,000mAh battery and running on Android Oreo version based on Android Oreo (Go Edition) where all the lightweight Google apps installed for smoother use. The Micromax Spark Go smartphone features a single 5MP fixed focus camera with a LED flash and the front comes with a 2MP selfie camera with a flash as well. The device includes connectivity options like 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, a Micro USB port, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Micromax Spark Go Price and Availability
The Micromax Spark Go handset will go on sale from October 26 in India via Flipkart exclusive. The device will be available in two color options like Rose Gold and Silver at Rs.3,999. The device offers 25GB of additional 4G data from Reliance Jio and you can get additional 5GB of 4G data on prepaid recharges of Rs.198 or Rs.299 onwards.
The handset will compete with the Nokia 1 Android Go device. However, the Nokia 1 seems more powerful in terms of the performance due to the MediaTek processor as compared to Spreadtrum chipset. Whereas, HMD Global already announced that their all Nokia devices will get Android 9.0 Pie update very soon. But the Micromax doesn’t mention anything clearly.
