Oppo F9 Pro launched with Waterdrop Notch and VOOC Charging in India for Rs.23,990

Oppo has launched their another mid-range smartphone called Oppo F9 Pro in India on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. The device is priced at Rs.23,990 and comes with three new eye-catching gradient color variants with patterns such as Sunlight Red, Starry Purple, and Twilight Blue. The handset is currently available for pre-order and will go on sale from August 31st in India via all online and offline stores.

Another Oppo F9 model launched on the same day with a price tag of Rs.19,990 featuring 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, no VOOC charging, a 16MP selfie camera etc. But today we’ll discuss about the Oppo F9 Pro handset.

Oppo F9 Pro Specifications and Features

The Oppo F9 Pro smartphone comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ 19.5:9 aspect ratio display with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels. The display does have a waterdrop styled notch and the screen-to-body ratio is around 90.8 percent. The display is also layered with 2.5D curved glass and Corning Gorilla glass protection. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC coupled with 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage. The storage can be expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card.

The Oppo F9 Pro device sports a dual rear camera of a 16MP primary sensor with f/1.8 aperture lens and a secondary 2MP sensor with the depth of field mode. While the front features a single 25MP AI camera with Sony IMX576 sensor for nice portrait and HDR shots even in the low light environment. The selfie expert Oppo includes AI Beautification 2.1 mode which can capture better images with slow-motion video recording.

The handset is running on Android 8.1 Oreo over ColorOS 5.2 custom skin. It also includes Google Lens, TouchPal Keyboard with AI Assistant, smart bar option for occasional interference while gaming like PUBG. In terms of the connectivity options, it has 4G LTE dual-SIM, dual-band Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, FM Radio, MicroUSB 2.0 port etc. All the necessary sensors are available including a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.
