Redmi Note 5 Pro Gets MIUI 9.5 Based on Android Oreo
As we all know that Xioami doesn’t provide updates very easily. So if they set up their mind to give updates to Redmi Note 5 Pro devices then you have to wait for few weeks. The Xioami Redmi Note 5 Pro was launched in February this year, running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat over MIUI 9 out of the box. The device was launched with decent specifications and a competitive price tag in India but the Android version was an issue with a new phone.
At the launch event, Xioami assured that they will provide the Android Oreo update to this device very soon and now they’re doing this. The company has announced the roll-out date on Twitter page and Mi Community page as well. They already had provided the MIUI 9.5 update to some Redmi Note 5 Pro users but there were so many bugs and issues.
