The Magisk v16.0 comes with a lot of added features and improvements. The most important thing to be noted is the addition of treble support for Huawei and Honor devices. The previous version of Magisk was able to run on Honor View 10 which was the first treble support supported other than Google Pixel XL. After the success of the treble support addition, the developer has decided to add treble support for all Huawei and Honor devices.
Magisk v16.0 Update Brings Bootloop Crash Fix
Another important addition to be noted is the bootloop issue fixes. The v15.4 of Magisk had a bug with NDK compiler which caused many devices to get stuck on bootloop. This issue has been solved in the Magisk v16.0. The developer has announced that a proper release of the version will be done very slowly. He had also mentioned that no more updates will be pushed for about 4 months after the current update release.
