Samsung had launched the latest smartphone in the Galaxy Tab A smartphone which is the Galaxy Tab A 9.7. The Galaxy Tab A comes with a 10-inch display and is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired and also has a massive 6000mAh battery. As far as the Galaxy Tab A is concerned, the tablet was launched with Android 5.0 Lollipop update but the tablet was later upgraded to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The Android 7.0 Nougat update on the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has been highly anticipated but there was no news regarding the same. Now, we have known that the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 will receive the update to Android 7.0 Nougat very soon.
We have known that the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has been certified by the WiFi alliance which is the authority that certifies every update before it is released to the smartphones around the world. As far as the Android 7.0 Nougat is concerned, it will bring all the latest features to the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 like the revamped notifications as well as doze mode which helps in saving the battery. One thing to note is that the Galaxy Tab A 9.7 has already been updated to the Android 7.0 Nougat version in Turkey in March but the wider rollout of the update has not started yet.
