Oneplus is currently rolling out a new software update to its devices the One Plus 3 and One Plus 3T. The update came with numerous bug fixes along with stability and performance enhancements. One Plus 3 was updated with the Open Beta 20 version of OxygenOS while the One Plus 3T was updated with the Open Beta 11 version.
According to the changelog found in the update the changes include, replacement of the battery saver indicator from the orange status bar to a simple notification and enhanced calculation of internet data usage. The update has also added a feature to capture screenshots from GIFs and videos although this is currently in the testing phase.
The weather widget have also been tweaked to improve the visual effects in this latest update. All these fixes are identical for both the One Plus 3 and One Plus 3T devices. Along with the new features, some bugs were also fixed by this update. It includes fixes for some 3rd party apps, incorrect battery level indication for bluetooth devices connected and an inaccurate weather forecast retrieval bug.
Only those users who have joined in the One Plus Beta program are currently receiving the update. Remember that since this is a beta update, some of the new features or overall system performance might be unstable. So backup all your important data before installing this update just to be safe.
