Currently, all the smartphone companies are trying to develop the software version for Android 9 Pie over their custom UI. Only the stock Android-based Google Pixel series and Essential Phone got the Android 9 update earlier. All other smartphone brands like Xiaomi, OnePlus, Nokia, Vivo, Oppo, Sony, LG are still working on that. Now the Xiaomi Mi Mix 2S gets Android 9 Pie OTA update over China MIUI 10 ROM. Both the China Stable and Developer ROM gets the latest kernel version with Android 9.0 Pie.
Mi Mix 2S Gets Android 9 Pie OTA Update
The Mi Mix 2S gets Android 9 Pie OTA update and the recent China MIUI 10 v8.9.7 fixed a few bugs and improves system performance. The recent AnTuTu Benchmark score showing a score around 2,76,000 points which is far better than the previous result of around 2,60,000 points. Though the updated score doesn’t make any changes the phone’s score position in AnTuTu Benchmark Top Android Smartphones List, on-paper it’s a quite big difference for the users.
We all know that the latest MIUI 10 ROM does have some system performance upgrades and some other changes in UI with better RAM management over MIUI 9. The 2GB sized OTA update package rolling out from September 5. If you’re using the China MIUI 9 ROM then you can download and install the update manually via official MIUI site.
