Vivo is set to launch a new smartphone in India in this year and the company launched the Vivo V7 and V7 Plus smartphones last year which were the flagship smartphones from the company of 2017. Now, we have known that Vivo is all set to launch the next Vivo V series flagship and this smartphone will be named as the Vivo V9. As far as the Vivo V9 is concerned, we have known that this smartphone will also be similar to the other smartphones from the company in terms of being a selfie-centric smartphone. Apart from that, the major change will be in the design of the Vivo V9.
We have come to know that the Vivo V9 will come with an iPhone X-like Notch on top of the display which will house the front camera as well as other sensors. This makes Vivo join the list of list of Android OEMs that are following the Notch trend which consists of Asus, LG, OnePlus and others. Also, the phone will have a “Full-View” display which is just Vivo’s version of the bezel-less display. Talking about the other aspects of the Vivo V9, the smartphone will have the same front camera as last year which was a 24MP shooter.
However, it is expected that Vivo will add some tricks and features to its camera with the help of AI in order to enhance the selfie-taking capability of the smartphone. As far as the Vivo V9’s launch in India is concerned, the company has announced that the next flagship from the company will be launched on March 27. It is expected that the Vivo V9 will be launched in India at a starting price of Rs. 25,000 which is more than the price of Vivo V7 at time of launch last year.
