The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip foldable smartphone is all set to announce on February 11, 2020, at a launch event in San Francisco. The upcoming foldable display device has a square shape and folds/unfolds vertically just like a flip phone. Interestingly, the device ad has appeared as a TV commercial during the Academy Awards in the USA.
According to the teaser, the device will come in two colour variants like Black and Purple colour. Meanwhile, the device is expected to launch at a quite lower price tag than the Galaxy Fold which was much expensive. Though there were some problems with the foldable display on that particular device which has been addressed by Samsung very quickly. Now, most of Samsung’s foldable devices look pretty much sturdy and reliable than the Galaxy Fold.
Now, talking about the specifications, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Flip is expected to come with a 6.7-inches Full-HD+ foldable dynamic AMOLED display with 1080×2636 pixels. It would have Always-on display support, One UI 2.0 based on Android 10, Snapdragon 855+ chipset, 8GB RAM, UFS 3.0 256GB internal storage.
While the device is expected to come with a dual rear camera setup of 12+12MP lens that offers wide & ultrawide view with OIS, Dual Pixel PDAF, HDR10+, and more.
