Google has started rolling out a software update to Google Pixel and Nexus devices with the latest November security patch. This update will also bring several bug fixes for Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 series users. However, Essential Phone is also rolling out the Nov security patch update.
Pixel and Nexus Devices Getting November Security Patch
According to the Changelog of the update, it brings improvements to the picture-in-picture mode, Google Assistant logo on the quick search bar, and more. The PIP mode was introduced in Android Oreo version and it’s available in Android Pie also. So, now the users can enjoy videos with other tasks simultaneously. The Google Assistant feature in the Google search bar widget is recently introduced in Google Pixel 3 series and now it’s available for other Google devices. That will come in handy and very useful as well.

The new update will come to Some Nexus devices like Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Essential PH-1, Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2 and Pixel 2 XL devices very soon. So, it will take a few days to roll-out the update completely. You can also check the software update manually via ‘Settings’ > ‘System Update’ option on a regular basis.
