The Nokia 8 Sirocco the latest flagship from HMD Global, Nokia mobiles now home, is now available for pre-booking in the countries of China and Finland, Nokia’s home Country.
Nokia at MWC’ 18 recap
A quick recap, last month at the MWC Nokia announced 5 new devices, the Nokia 8110 feature phone, the entry-level Nokia 1, the mid-range Nokia 6 2018, Nokia 7 Plus and the flagship Nokia 8 Sirocco. The Nokia 1, Nokia 6 2018 and Nokia 7 Plus has been on sale for some time in China, it is now that Nokia 8 Sirocco is also rolling out to shelves.
Specifications
The Nokia 8 Sirocco has a 5.5 inch Poled display manufactured by LG Displays. The screen has a resolution of QHD( 2560×1440 ). The screen is a bit curved at the edges and may resemble the curved displays found in Samsung flagships. The device runs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and it is accompanied by GGB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is powered by a 3260 mAh battery.
On the front 95% is covered by vacuum molded Gorilla Glass 5 giving the device impressive strength and rigidity. HMD has made use of stainless steel in the construction of the device making it one of the strongest flagships in the market. The steel joins the back and the front glass.
The device comes with the, now usual in flagships, Wireless Charging and IP67 Water and dust resistance and no headphone jack.

Nokia 8 Sirocco: Pricing and Availability
The device is available for pre-booking on online retailer JD.com in China for a price of CNY 4,699 ( approx. $750). While in Finland, the device is listed for a price of EUR 699 at Elisa and DNA.
The first flash sale in China is on April 3rd and in Finland, it is 19th April.
Being a part of the Android One program, the device comes with Android Oreo out of the box.
The Chinese version would be devoid of Google Play suite of services.
Apart from China and Finland, the device is expected to arrive in India and rest of Europe by April or May’ 18.
