The Moto G6 Plus finally launched in India with mid-range specifications but the priced is much higher than expected. Lenovo-owned Motorola devices are decent in terms of the features and specifications but most of the devices are overpriced and thus Motorola losing the competition. The smartphone does have a P2i water-repellent nano-coating.

Moto G6 Plus Specifications

The Moto G6 Plus comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio 5.93-inch Full HD+ Max Vision IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels. The display is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. Under the hood, the device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chipset coupled with Adreno 508 GPU and a 6GB of RAM. The internal storage is 64GB and it can be expandable up to 128GB via the dedicated MicroSD card slot.

The Moto G6 Plus sports a dual rear 12MP+5MP cameras at the back with a dual tone dual LED flash. The front does have a 16MP selfie camera with a selfie flash. The device runs on stock Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. It features connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11ac, dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0 LE, 4G VoLTE, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC, dual nano-SIM, Dolby Audio etc. The handset is packed with a 3,200 mAh battery with the Motorola’s Turbo Charging feature.

All the major sensor are available on this device including a front-facing Fingerprint sensor. The device measures 160 x 75.5 x 8.0 mm and weighs 167 grams out of the box.

Moto G6 Plus Price and Availability in India

The handset is available in Black color only at a price tag of Rs.22,499 via Motorola India and Amazon India website and other offline stores like Moto Hub etc. The company mentioned that the device will get the Android 9 Pie update in future.
