After almost a year, Micromax finally breaks the silence and announced two new Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphones in India. The new Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity edition and Bharat 4 Diwali edition smartphones are entry-level budget devices in its segment. The Bharat 5 Infinity edition is already available in offline markets for sale and the Bharat 4 Diwali edition will go on sale from November 3. The Android Oreo Go edition smartphones are low-cost performance based devices. The Go edition software purely optimized for better performance and consistency even after updates or installing apps.
Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition Specifications
The Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity edition handset comes with an 18:9 aspect ratio Full Vision display with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The storage can be expandable up to 64GB via MicroSD card. However, the company doesn’t mention the internal processor. The device features a 5MP single rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front camera.

The smartphone runs on Android Oreo (Go Edition) out of the box along with Face Unlock and rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well. The front panel of the device looks so premium and the display edges simply look like an infinity display. The dual-SIM and dual VoLTE supported device packed with a huge 5,000mAh battery.
Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition Specifications
The Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition smartphone also runs on Android Oreo Go edition platform which ensures better user experience in terms of performance and power consumption. This device comes with a 5-inch display and 1GB of RAM option. The processor of this device is still unknown. It does have an 8GB of onboard storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via MicroSD card.
The handset features a 5MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2MP selfie camera with a LED flash also. It doesn’t have the hybrid SIM slot but supports 4G VoLTE. The battery of this device is 2,000mAh which will last a day easily due to lower display size and resolution.
Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity and Bharat 4 Diwali Edition Price and Availability
The Micromax Bharat 5 Infinity Edition smartphone is priced at Rs.5,899 in India. While the Micromax Bharat 4 Diwali Edition handset costs Rs.4,249. Both the devices will be available for sale via brick and mortar stores. While the Bharat 5 already available in offline stores across India, Bharat 4 will be available from November 3. There are several Reliance Jio additional data benefits will be available on the purchase of any of these two devices.
