LG has recently released the flagship smartphone from the company in its LG G series which is the LG G6. The LG G6 was first announced at the MWC in Barcelona and the smartphone was launched in the US as well as the other parts later on. The LG G6 has been the best selling smartphone from the company until now and the LG G6 is also the successor to the not-so-popular smartphone from the company, the LG G5. Now, we have reported earlier that the company is working on a mini version of the LG G6 which will be called the LG Q6.
Now, the rumors of the LG Q6 are becoming more and more frequent and we have a launch date of the smartphone as well from the company itself. According to the company’s official video posted on Youtube, the LG Q6 will be launching on July 11 which is just a day away from now.
Apart from the launch date, the video also shows that the smartphone which is set to be launched will come with a full vision display which was earlier seen on the LG G6. This is very good to have especially in a budget offering from the company.
Talking about the internals on the LG Q6, the phone will come with a 5.4-inch QHD display supporting an aspect ratio of 18:9. Apart from that, the smartphone will carry octa-core Snapdragon 430 chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz paired with 3GB RAM. Also, the smartphone will also run on the latest version of Android which is the Android 7.1.1 Nougat. One interesting exclusion from the LG G6 to the LG Q6 is that the later will have only a single camera which is of 13-megapixel on the back which is different from the dual camera present on the LG G6.
