The Nokia 9 has been in the limelight for quite some time and now, a massive leak gives us an idea about the specifications of the flagship smartphone from Nokia. This leak is a part of the FCC documents and hence we feel that this might be the final deal.
The Nokia 9 is a very important phone for the company and Nokia has to get this smartphone right to rise back as a smartphone super power.
The Nokia 9 is set to feature a 5.5-inch OLED display( the resolution is not known). It is rumoured to be powered by the Snapdragon 835 SoC, which is quite disappointing given the fact that the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 has already been announced. It is also worthy to note that Xiaomi Mi 7 will be the first smartphone to sport the top end SoC. Even though the amount of RAM is unknown, we expect device to pack 6GB of RAM. The image suggests 128GB of onboard storage.
As for optics, a dual camera setup is rumoured with a 12MP+13MP setup. We do not know whether Nokia will go in for a Telephoto lens or instead opt in for an RGB+Monochrome setup. Either way, Nokia really has to get the camera’s right given the fierce competition.
The Nokia 9 will release with Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the box and is expected to be released in the first quarter of 2018.
