How to Restore Stock Firmware On Moto G5 Plus
- First of all download the stock nougat firmware from the download section.
- Now download ADB and Fastboot and setup it in your PC.
- Copy nougat firmware and paste the firmware file on the same folder in ADB and Fastboot.
- Now open the CMD window in ADB and Fastboot folder, to open command window from ADB folder, press and hold Shift key and right-click on an empty space
- Boot your device into bootloader mode by pressing and holding volume down button.
- Now connect your device to PC via USB cable.
- Now open the flashstock.bat script it will automatically add all the script.

I have unlocked the Bootloader & installed TWRP recovery on my Moto G5 Plus (Indian Varient) (Note: Not Rooted nor installed any custom ROMs just unlocked the Bootloader). Now I want to remove the TWRP recovery & install the stock recovery back on the phone. I have tried to do it by downloading the official ROM (Which contains stock recovery image i.e. recovery.img) & then applying the adb commands i.e. “fastboot flash recovery recovery.img” but remote error is shown (FAILED (remote failure)). What should I can do now? Any suggestions or Steps will be a great help.
