InFocus has recently announced their newest smartphone in the Turbo series. The new smartphone is the InFocus Turbo 5 and the smartphone was announced earlier last month in India. Now, the company has started to take the registrations for the smartphone. The registrations have now been done through Amazon in India which is also the exclusive E-commerce partner of the smartphone in India. The InFocus Turbo 5 will be available on Amazon India at a price of Rs. 6,999. The users who have registered for the smartphone will be notified via email as well as SMS from Amazon India when the smartphone becomes available for purchase. Amazon India has also announced that the smartphone will be available for open sale from July 4th at 12 PM.
As far as the specifications of the smartphone are concerned, the InFocus Turbo 5 comes with a quad-core 1.3GHz MediaTek MT6737 processor which is paired with a Mali T720 MP1 GPU. The Turbo 5 comes in two RAM plus storage combinations. First one is a 2GB RAM + 16GB storage and the second variant comes with 3GB RAM + 32GB storage option. Also, the InFocus Turbo 5 has a 5.2-inch HD display and comes with a 2.5D curved glass on top. The main highlight of the smartphone, however, is the massive battery which is a 5,000mAh non-removable battery with up to 2 days of power on a single charge.
Also, the InFocus Turbo 5 comes with a 13MP rear camera coupled with a LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. Also, the smartphone runs on the near-latest version of Android as the smartphone comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box. However, the Android 7.1.1 Nougat update is expected to come to the smartphone very soon. Also, the InFocus Turbo 5 comes with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for added security.
