HTC U11 has been the latest flagship smartphone from HTC and also the second premium smartphone from the company in its HTC U series of smartphones. The HTC U series had its first smartphone as the HTC U Ultra which did not go well according to the company’s expectations. The HTC U11 is also the successor to the HTC 10 which was launched last year as the flagship smartphone for 2016 from HTC. Now, the latest HTC U11 is getting the month security patch update and the update is coming to the smartphones as an over-the-air update.
After the installation of the update, the HTC U11 users will get the June security patch installed on their phones which is the latest security patch from Google. The update, apart from installing the June security patch on the HTC U11, also brings support for 4CA for select carriers alongside some camera and system enhancements. The update should also improve the overall security of your smartphone upon installation and there should be bug fixes to the previous version of HTC Sense as well. However, we have not received any information about the update bringing any new features to the phone, we should expect some more reliability after the update as well.
Also, talking about the update, the company has already sent out updates to all the HTC U11 smartphones and the OTA should be arriving in your phones as soon as possible. But, if you have not received the update yet then you do not need to worry as the rollout process usually takes some time to reach all of the devices and the update should arrive on your phone in the coming days. There would also be a notification on your phone which will notify you that the update has arrived and you can download the update to your phone.
