HTC One M8 gets Android 8.0 Oreo Update Via LineageOS 15 ROM

HTC One M8 is a premium quality smartphone that has been liked by the experts in the industry because of its beast performance and high-quality build. Even though it is quite an old smartphone and HTC has scrapped its One series completely and replaced it with U series, you can expect to find the smartphones with a lot of users as they consider it is the best smartphones till date and reluctant to give it away or go for an upgrade. Steps To Install LineageOS 15 ROM On HTC One M8

Step 1. Download LineageOS 15 Rom for HTC One M5 single SIM variant and Android 8.0 Oreo GApps. and transfer them to your device.

Step 2. Switch off your device and boot into TWRP recovery. Select Wipe from the TWRP menu and Swipe to Factory Reset.

Step 3. Go back to TWRP main menu and select Install and then browse and select LineageOS Zip file. Swipe to confirm flash and the flashing process will initiate.

Step 4. Once the flashing process is done, go to the main menu and select Wipe cache/dalvik. Select that and Swipe to confirm the wipe.

Step 5. Flash GApps file in the same way as LineageOS Zip file.
