HTC has recently launched the newest lineup of smartphones this year with its HTC U series of smartphones. Now, T-Mobile has announced that the HTC 10 will start getting the security patch update from Google which will strengthen the device’s security. However, one thing to note is that the update will be the security patch from April which was released by Google in the month of April and the July security patch has already been released yesterday by Google. As far as the version number is concerned, The update, which arrives as an OTA update has version number 2.41.531.44. Talking about the update, the April security patch was very much ground-breaking as far as security patches are concerned as the month of April saw many security threats which were fixed by this patch.
Talking about the update, the OTA has been released by the US carrier already to the concerned devices on its network and the notification that you have received a new update will hit your device very soon so that you can download and install the update to your devices.
