Essential Products is a company that was founded rather recently by former Android, former Google employee Andy Rubin announced that the company will ship its first phone PH-1 very soon and this caused a lot of buzz in the Android community and this was also seen as the rise of the prodigal son of the world of Android phones.
Nevertheless, Essential’s first phone which is named popularly as PH-1 had an interesting design, something that we haven’t seen before. PH-1 did indeed look very futuristic with almost bezel less front display and a back with no camera bumps.
Essential Phone Ships In a Week
Now as far as the phone’s shipping date goes, we do have some good news for those who have been looking forward to the device. Essential Products has been emailing those who pre-registered for the device and are telling them the device is made. Here is the email that everyone received.
They’re asking for these people to put in their payment details now and the phone would be delivered “within 7 days.” Customers are given a choice of paying for the device in full, or opting for a monthly payment option for around $30 per month.
Essential’s PH-1 Retail Price Tag
Currently, if you are interested in picking up the handset, you can do so via Essential.com and get the unlocked version for the price of $699,99 or $749,99 with the 360° camera module.
If you are the more patient customer, you would eventually see these devices retail on Amazon.com and BestBuy. According to Essential’s own website, shipping is free and should take two-to-three days from the day of dispatch to arrive.
